Objective: Plan Less, Worry Less...Do More. Something to ponder when considering a career.... Swallowed by the Inc. I have not enjoyed a Sunday in many years It's a day of apprehension and anxiety. I dislike the day so.... I wish I could just go to work and skip Sunday. Friday...Saturday and then work... But I am afraid I would then lose Saturday I guess if I did not suffer thru Sundays Worrying about Mondays... I could not enjoy Saturday. My job has swallowed me. I am just a supervisor In the belly of an Inc. I do not pass through. As years go on I am more desperate to leave this place. A warehouse of small goals...that fell off the world. A little vacation, occasionally a free lunch or you get off 5 minutes early A credit union... A bit of grudging insurance... With representative's that try to weazel out of anything they can Even though you or one of yours is sick and in need. Therefore the logic of my life becomes more twisted I ride the multi-colored carousel... Waving to another, stronger me... Through the parallel... In endless circles needing no direction... Till I am an old man. I am afraid I will not be able to do this anymore. I will just walk out one day... Escaping through a broken scab on the arm of this beast. On good days we take our lunch outside...on the dock. Some eat, smoke, play frisbee or talk in small groups. It looks like recess at a school for children with low self-esteem. Victims of repetitive motion and repetitive thinking We start believing we are not any better than this... "I ain't got no lunch money... can I have a pack of ramen noodles?" "boss...can I get my check a day early?" "look at her, god I'd love to take her home..." "hey...that would be assault with a dead weopen" "give me a break" "you got your break when you got this job...." My mornings start that way. The years...yes, the years go by that way... When you are swallowed by an Inc. hdduke
