Seaside, Oregon June 1997

Hope is the best of things. I have been thru many hard times and learned that I believe in love and...that love cannot be taken out of me. I have never passed a day that I have not laughed, thought of my friends, and worried about getting some horrible disease. I am fortunate that I have Teresa to listen to me complain bitterly about what might happen.
Dirk Shorter Dirk told me thanks for teaching him life is about art. I don't know if I did that...I used to drink a lot more...BUT...HE told me...when he said he was standing up to his butt in concrete in Michigan and a guy asked..."How did you get into this business..." He replied..."Complete lack of discipline and a few bad decisions!" Yup. My Good Friend..........Dirk. If It Were Not For You
